Connections Sports Edition began on 24 September 2024 and has run daily since. Every puzzle is listed here, one page per year, with the puzzle number, the date and the four category names - enough to recognise a puzzle without spoiling it for anyone still playing.
What the archive is good for
Read a year end to end and the shape of the puzzle becomes obvious. Certain categories return in different clothes: hall-of-fame surnames, jargon that means one thing in basketball and another in cricket, city names that carry a franchise. Recognising a returning shape is worth more than any single hint.
